TRAUMA THERAPY
Traumatic experiences can still be affecting us today unless they are resolved. Trauma therapy is a life-changing way to help resolve trauma which has left us feeling less safe. We can so easily develop protective ways to keep ourselves safe during our childhood because we are so vulnerable otherwise. However these protective habits continue into our adult lives and unfortunately often undermine our ability to enjoy life and experience freedom from fear. Counselling provides instruction on ways to keep safe with assertiveness training, understanding how to utilize protective boundaries and the vital role of setting clear goals for the future.
